Overview
Smash + Grab was a third person 3v3 online brawler where Players smash up stores to loot cash and weapons, and must be the first team to collect $50,000 . The game featured hero characters with special abilities & AI companion gang members that follow you around and help your team.
My role on Smash + Grab was designing character attacks and abilities. I worked closely with animators, engineers, and UI/UX to help design and script character combat. I also worked on the AI logic for support characters which had their own attacks and some had their own abilities.
Responsibilities
Designed and implemented character attacks and abilities in Unity & a proprietary scripting tool
Worked closely with animators, engineers, UI/UX, and artists to take designs from conception to implementation
Assisted with scripting in C# on various client-based gameplay features
Scripting in C# to implement level events
Worked with other designers to iterate on level design, economy design, & systems design
